Bus Detour for No. 819 in South Plainfield – Monday, September 29

Effective Monday, September 29 at 7:00 AM, until Thursday, October 2 at 7:00 PM, South Clinton Avenue will be closed between Tyler Place and New Market Avenue due to road work.    

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 819 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward South Plainfield will not be affected.     
• Buses traveling toward Plainfield will travel from Shelton Road and Hamilton Bouelvard, continue on Shelton Road, make a right on New Brunswick Avenue, right on New Market Avenue, and then continue the regular route.       

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
