BUS ON-TIME PERFORMANCE
Morris and Essex Line rail service remains suspended due to a slow-speed derailment of a non-passenger work train at Summit Station. Gladstone Branch rail service is operating between Gladstone and Summit Stations, service east of Summit remains suspended between Summit, Hoboken and Penn Station New York. NJ TRANSIT rail tickets and passes are being cross honored by NJ TRANSIT and private carrier buses. Customers are advised to monitor the NJ TRANSIT website, alerts, and social media for updates regarding service. Customers may also visit the ABC’s contingency plan for information on available alternate services.
The Boonton Scoot will operate between Denville and Boonton stations.
Every day, NJ TRANSIT operates hundreds of trains, buses, and light rail vehicles. Since January 2018, we have made considerable progress to fulfill mandatory safety requirements, modernize our fleet, communicate real-time service status conveniently, and recruit new bus operators, locomotive engineers, and assistant conductors to make transit work for New Jersey.

Per Governor Murphy's Executive Order No. 80, we're making it easier to track key performance measures, including on-time performance, mean distance between failure (MDBF), and total cancellations each month.
