Bus Detour for No. 453 in Camden – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately, and continuing until Sunday, September 21 at 10:00 PM, Riverside Drive will be closed between Federal Street and MLK Jr. Boulevard due to the Xponential Music Festival.   

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 453 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Riverside Drive will travel from Market and 3rd streets, continue straight on Market Street, make a left on Delaware Avenue, left on Federal Street, and then layover on Federal Street.   
  • Buses traveling toward Ferry Avenue PATCO Station will travel from Federal Street Layover, continue on Federal Street, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
