Bus Detour for No. 76 in Kearny – Saturday, September 20, 2025

Effective Saturday, September 20, from 8:00 AM until 7:00 PM, Belgrove Drive will be closed between Halstead Street and Bergen Avenue due to the Amazing Duck Race.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 76 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Belgrove Drive and Peden Terrace, make a right on Peden Terrace, left on Passaic Avenue, and then continue the regular route.   
  • Buses traveling toward Hackensack will travel from Belgrove Drive and Passaic Avenue, continue on Passaic Avenue, make a right on Peden Terrace, left on Belgrove Drive, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
