Bus Detour for No. 86P in North Bergen and Union City – Sunday, September 21, 2025

Effective Sunday, September 21, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Bergenline Avenue will be closed between 85th and 32nd streets due to the Dominican American Parade.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 86P will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Jersey City will travel from 48th Street and Broadway, and then layover.      
• Buses traveling toward Union City will travel from Broadway and 48th Street, continue on Broadway, left on 49th Street, left on Palisade Avenue, left on 48th Street, and then layover.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
