Bus Detour for Nos. 65 & 114 in Dunellen – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until Monday, September 15 at 5:00 PM, New Market Road will be closed between South Avenue and Walnut Street due to utility work. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 65 and 114 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward PABT and Newark will travel from New Market Road and South Avenue, make a right on South Avenue, left on Prospect Avenue, left on Walnut Street, right on New Market Road, and then continue the regular route.  
  • Buses traveling toward Bridgewater and Summerville will travel from New Market Road and Walnut Street, make a left on Walnut Street, right on Prospect Avenue, right on South Avenue, left on New Market Road, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
