Bus Detour for No. 552 in Wildwood – Saturday, September 13, 2025

Effective Saturday, September 13, from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM, New Jersey Avenue will be closed between Crocus and 26th avenues due to the annual Firefighter Convention Parade.   

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 552 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Cape May will travel from Rio Grande Avenue and Park Boulevard, make a left on Park Boulevard, right on Davis Avenue, right on Washington Avenue right onto Burke Avenue into Wildwood Bus Terminal, right on Davis Avenue, left on Atlantic Avenue, left on Oak Avenue, left on Park Boulevard, right on Rio Grande Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Atlantic City will travel from Rio Grande Avenue and Park Boulevard, make a left on Park Boulevard, right on Davis Avenue, right on Washington Avenue right onto Burke Avenue into Wildwood Bus Terminal, right on Davis Avenue, left on Atlantic Avenue, left on Oak Avenue, left on Park Boulevard, right on Rio Grande Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
