Bus Detour for No. 409 in Bordentown – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately, and continuing until Friday, August 29 at 4:00 PM, Farnsworth Avenue will be closed between Park and Prince streets due to road construction.   

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 409 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Philadelphia  will travel from Park Street and Farnsworth Avenue, continue on Park Street, left on Prince Street, right on Burlington Street, and then continue the regular route.  
  • Buses traveling toward Trenton will travel from Burlington and Prince streets, make a left on Prince Street, right on Park Street, continue on Park Street, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
