Bus Detour for No. 166 in Tenafly – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 27, Dean Drive will be closed between Huyler and Westervelt avenues due to milling and paving.   

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 166 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward New York PABT will travel from East Clinton Avenue and Dean Drive, continue on East Clinton Avenue, right on Engle Street, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Cresskill will travel from Engle Street and Westervelt Avenue, continue on Engle Street, left on East Clinton Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
