Hudson-Bergen Light Rail: Boarding Changes and Schedule Adjustments due to Ongoing Trackwork – Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17, 2025

Boarding Changes:

  • Both days, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Track R1 will be out of service between Jersey Avenue to Harborside Financial Center. All trains will arrive and depart on Track R2 at Jersey Avenue, Marin Boulevard, Essex Street, Exchange Place, and Harborside Financial stations.
  • On Saturday, August 16, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Track R1 will be out of service between Port Imperial and Tonnelle Avenue stations. All trains will arrive and depart on Track R2 at Port Imperial, Bergenline, and Tonnelle Avenue stations.
  • On Sunday, August 17, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Track R2 will be out of service between Port Imperial and Tonnelle Avenue stations. All trains will arrive and depart on Track R1 at Port Imperial, Bergenline and Tonnelle Avenue stations.
     

Weekend Schedule Changes – Service on August 16 and 17:

Each day, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM:

Northbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

  • 8th Street to Hoboken Terminal - :13, :43
  • West Side Avenue to Tonnelle Avenue - :16, :46

Southbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

  • Tonnelle Avenue to West Side Avenue - :17, :47
  • Hoboken Terminal to 8th Street - :05, :35
     

After 6:00 PM on both days, normal weekend service will resume.
