Bus Detour for Nos. 31, 92 & 107 in South Orange – Tuesday, August 12, 2025

Effective Tuesday, August 12, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM, Sloan Street will be closed between 2nd and 3rd streets due to road construction. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 31, 92 and 107 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Newark, Ivy Hill and Branch Brook Park will travel from Valley and 2nd streets, continue on Valley Street, left on 3rd Street, left on Academy Street, left on 2nd Street, right on Valley Street, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward South Orange  will travel from Valley and 2nd streets, continue straight on Valley Street, and then layover on Valley Street. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
