Bus Detour for Nos. 502, 509, 554, and 559 in Pleasantville - Saturday, August 9, 2025

Effective Saturday, August 9, from 5:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Franklin Avenue (Exit 4 and Exit 5) will be closed between Reading and Thompson for the CRDA Ironman Atlantic City Triathlon.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 502, 509, 554, and 559 in Pleasantville will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Hamilton Mall, Lindenwold, or Lakewood will travel from the Atlantic City Expressway entrance, continue on the Atlantic City Expressway to Garden State Parkway Exit 7S, continue on Garden State Parkway South to Exit 37, make a left on Washington Avenue at the light, continue on Washington Avenue to Franklin Avenue, make a right on Franklin Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Atlantic City will travel from West Jersey Avenue and Franklin Avenue, make a right on Franklin Avenue, make a right on Black Horse Pike, continue on Garden State Parkway North, continue on Garden State Parkway North to Exit 38 (Atlantic City), and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
