Bus Detour for No. 704 in Paterson - Sunday, July 27, 2025

Effective Sunday, July 27, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Main Street will be closed between Crooks Avenue and Market Street for the Peruvian Day Parade.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 704 in Paterson will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Willowbrook Mall will travel from Broadway and Washington Street, continue on Broadway, make a left on Curtis Place, right on Van Houten Street, left on Mill Street, right on Market Street, left on Spruce Street, right on Grand Street, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Paterson will travel from Grand Street and Spruce Street, make a left on Spruce Street, right on McBride Avenue, continue on Ellison Street, left on Curtis Place, right on Broadway, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
