Bus Detour for No. 703 in Passaic, Clifton, and Paterson - Sunday, July 27, 2025

Effective Sunday, July 27, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Main Street will be closed between Paulison Avenue and Market Street for the Peruvian Day Parade. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 703 in Passaic, Clifton, and Paterson will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward East Rutherford will travel from Central Avenue and Monroe Street, make a left on Monroe Street, right on Market Street, continue on Wallington Avenue, right on Main Avenue, left on Maple Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Paterson/Haledon will travel from Maple Avenue and Main Avenue in Wallington, make a right on Main Avenue, left on Wallington Avenue, continue on Market Street, left on Monroe Street, right on Lexington Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
