Bus Detour for No. 186 in Englewood – Thursday, July 17, 2025

Effective Thursday, July 17, from 7:00 AM, and continuing until Friday, July 18 at 1:00AM, Palisade Avenue will be closed between Grand Avenue and Van Brunt Street due to the Englewood Night Market.   

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 186 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward GWB will travel from Palisade Avenue and Van Brunt Street, make a right on Van Brunt Street, left onto Englewood Avenue, left onto Grand Avenue, right onto Palisade Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  
  • Buses traveling toward Dumont will travel from Palisade and Grand avenues, make a right onto Engle Street, left onto Demarest Avenue, left onto Van Brunt Street, right onto Palisade Avenue, and then continue the regular route.    

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
