Bus Detour for No. 178 in Englewood – Thursday, July 17, 2025

Effective Thursday, July 17, from 7:00 AM, and continuing until Friday, July 18 at 1:00AM, Palisade Avenue will be closed between Grand Avenue and Van Brunt Street due to the Englewood Night Market.   

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 178 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward GWB will travel from Lafayette Place and Englewood Avenue, continue on Englewood Avenue, right onto South Dean Street, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Hackensack will travel from Grand and Englewood avenues, make a left onto Englewood Avenue, and then continue the regular route.   

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
