Bus Detour for No. 94 in East Orange - Friday, July 4, 2025

Effective Friday, July 4, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Prospect Street will be closed between Springdale Avenue and William Street for the July 4th Parade. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 94 in East Orange will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Linden will travel from Prospect Street and Springdale Avenue, make a right on Springdale Avenue, left on Woodland Avenue, left on Park Avenue, right on Washington Terrace, left on Morton Place, left on William Street, right on Prospect Street, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Bloomfield will travel from Prospect Street and William Street, continue on William Street, make a right on Morton Place, right on Washington Terrace, left on Park Avenue, right on Woodland Avenue, right on Springdale Avenue, left on Prospect Street, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
