Bus Detour for No. 115 in Rahway – Thursday, July 3, 2025

Effective Thursday, July 3, from 8:00 PM until 11:00 PM, St. Georges Avenue will be closed between West Grand/Westfield avenues and West Scott Street due to a Fourth of July fireworks show.   

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 115 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward New York will travel from St. Georges and West Grand/Westfield avenues, make a right on West Grand Avenue, left on Whittier Street, left on West Scott Avenue, right on St. Georges Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Rahway will travel from St. Georges and West Scott avenues, make a left on West Scott Avenue, right on Whittier Street, right on West Grand Avenue, left on St. Georges Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
