Bus Detour for No. 14 in Jersey City – Sunday, June 22, 2025

Effective Sunday, June 22, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, West Side Avenue, will be closed between Communipaw Avenue and Montgomery Street due to the Philippine American Friendship Day Parade

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 14 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Journal Square will travel from Communipaw and West Side avenues, continue on Communipaw Avenue, make a left on Bergen Avenue, left on Montgomery Street, right on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Society Hill  will travel from Sip Avenue and John F. Kennedy Boulevard, left on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, left on Montgomery Street, right on Bergen Boulevard, right on Communipaw Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
