Bus Detour for Nos. 10 and 119 in Jersey City - Sunday, June 22, 2025

Effective Sunday, June 22, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, John F. Kennedy Boulevard will be closed between Communipaw Avenue and Montgomery Street for the Philippine American Friendship Day Parade and Festival.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 10 and 119 in Jersey City will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Journal Square and the Port Authority Bus Terminal will travel from John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Communipaw Avenue, make a right on Communipaw Avenue, left on Bergen Avenue, left on Montgomery Street, right on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Bayonne will travel from John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Montgomery Street, make a left on Montgomery Street, right on Bergen Avenue, right on Communipaw Avenue, left on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
