Bus Detour for No. 712 in Paterson - Effective Immediately

Effective immediately until Monday, September 1, from 4:00 PM to 11:59 PM, Spruce Street will be closed between McBride Avenue and Market Street for a street festival.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 712 in Paterson will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Hackensack will travel from Wayne Avenue and McBride Avenue, make a right on McBride Avenue, make a left on Quinn Street, left on Grand Street, left on Spruce Street, right on Market Street, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Willowbrook Mall will travel from Market Street and Spruce Street, make a left on Spruce Street, right on Grand Street, right on Hoxey Street, right on McBride Avenue, left on Wayne Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
