Metropark Station: Traffic Adjustments – Effective Immediately

Please be advised of the following traffic pattern changes at Metropark Station, due to construction:

  • Passenger Pick-Up and Drop-Off will be located on the ground floor of the West Parking Garage.
  • Taxi and Rideshare will be located on the ground floor of the East Parking Garage.
  • Buses will operate in the newly constructed bus stops, located on the eastern side of the Station Building, as well as a temporary staging area, located adjacent to the East Parking Deck. A bus stop plan can be found HERE.
  • A section of the right, northbound travel lane on Wood Avenue is closed between Middlesex Turnpike and Route 27, to accommodate construction until further notice. The traffic control plan can be found HERE.
  • All vehicles must use the easternmost road, located between the East and West parking garages. The westernmost road will be limited to exiting traffic only.
  • NJ TRANSIT Police will be present to assist with directing traffic.

During this time, we ask that customers be aware of the construction activity and follow all posted signage. Please allow for extra travel time. We appreciate your patience during this temporary adjustment.
