Bus Detour for No. 119 in Jersey City – Wednesday, July 16, 2025

Effective Wednesday, July 16, at 7:00 AM until Friday, July 25 at 5:00 PM, Palisade Avenue will be closed between Paterson Plank Road and Beacon Avenue due to milling and paving.   

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 119 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward PABT will travel from Congress Street and Webster Avenue, make a left on Webster Avenue, right on Paterson Plank Road, left on Manhattan Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  
  • Buses traveling toward Bayonne will travel from Manhattan Avenue and Paterson Plank Road, make a right on Paterson Plank Road, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
