Bus Detour for No. 601 in Trenton – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until 3:00 P.M. on Monday, July 14, South Clinton Avenue will travel from Hamilton and Greenwood avenues due to building construction.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 601 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward College of New Jersey will travel from South Clinton and Hamilton avenues, make a right on Hamilton Avenue, left on Chestnut Avenue, left on Greenwood Avenue, right on South Clinton Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Hamilton Marketplace will travel from South Clinton and Greenwood avenues, make a left on Greenwood Avenue, right on Chestnut Avenue, right on Hamilton Avenue, left on South Clinton Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
