Bus Detour for No. 404 in Merchantville - Effective Friday, July 4, to Monday, July 21, 2025

Effective Friday, July 4, until Monday, July 21, from 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Chestnut Street will be closed between Cove Road and Park Avenue due to road construction.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 404 in Merchantville will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Philadelphia will travel from Park Avenue and Cove Road, make a right on Cove Road, continue on Cove Road, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Cherry Hill Mall will travel from Cove Road and Centre Street, continue on Cove Road, make a left on Park Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
