Bus Detour for No. 165 in Oradell – Friday, July 4, 2025

Effective Friday, July 4, from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Kinderkamack Road will be closed between Soldier Hill Road and Midland Avenue due to an Independence Day Parade.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 165 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward PABT will travel from Kinderkamack and Soldier Hill roads, make a right onto Soldier Hill Road, left onto Forest Road, left onto Midland Avenue, right onto Kinderkamack Road, and thenc ontineu the regular route.   
  • Buses traveling toward Westwood will travel from Kinderkamack Road and Midland Avenue, make a left onto Midland Avenue, right onto Forest Avenue, right onto Soldier Hill Road, left onto Kinderkamack Road, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
