Bus Detour for No. 554 in Hammonton – Friday, July 4, 2025

Effective on Friday, July 4, from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM, Route 54 will be closed between Egg Harbor Road and Third Street for the 4th of July parade. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 554 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Lindenwold PATCO will travel from Egg Harbor Road and Line Street, make a left on Line Street, right on South 1st Road, bear right onto Chew Road, right onto 13th Street, continue onto Fairview Avenue, left on Route 30, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Atlantic City will travel from Route 30 and Fairview Avenue, make a right on Fairview Avenue, continue onto 13th Street, left on Chew Road, left on 1st Road, left on Line Street, right on South Egg Harbor Road, and then continue the regular route.   

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
