Bus Detour for Nos. 11 and 29 in Montclair - Friday, June 13 to Sunday, June 15, 2025

Effective Friday, June 13, until Sunday, June 15, from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Bloomfield Avenue will be closed between Valley Road and Grove Street for the Pride Festival.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 11 and 29 in Montclair will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Bloomfield Avenue and Valley Road, make a left on Valley Road, right on Claremont Avenue, right on Grove Street, left on Bloomfield Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Willowbrook/Essex Mall will travel from Bloomfield Avenue and Grove Street, make a right on Grove Street, left on Claremont Avenue, left on Valley Road, right on Bloomfield Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
