Bus Detour for Nos. 22 and 84 in North Bergen - Saturday, June 14, 2025

Effective Saturday, June 14, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Bergenline Avenue will be closed between John F. Kennedy Boulevard and 79th Street for the Sacco 5K Race.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 22 and 84 (Bergenline Service) will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Hoboken and Jersey City will depart from the layover bus stop, make a left on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, left on 79th Street, right on Bergenline Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward North Bergen will travel from Bergenline Avenue and 79th Street, make a left on 79th Street, right on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, right on 1st Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
