Bus Detour for Nos. 165, 166, and 168 in North Bergen - Saturday, June 14, 2025

Effective Saturday, June 14, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Boulevard East will be closed between Bergenline Avenue and 60th Street for the Sacco 5K Race.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 165, 166, and 168 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward the Port Authority Bus Terminal will travel from Woodcliff Avenue and Palisade Avenue, make a left on Palisade Avenue, right on Laird Avenue, right on Gorge Road, right on River Road, right on Anthony Defino Way, left on Boulevard East, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Westwood, Cresskill, and Paramus will travel from Boulevard East and Anthony Defino Way, make a right on Anthony Defino Way, left on River Road, left on Gorge Road, left on Laird Avenue, left on Palisade Avenue, right on Woodcliff Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
