MetLife Stadium: NJ TRANSIT Offers Rail Service between Secaucus Junction & MetLife Stadium for the FIFA Club World Cup

NJ TRANSIT will offer rail service from Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium for the FIFA Club World Cup matches on June 15, June 17 and 19, as well as June 21.

NOTE: 

  • All MetLife Stadium rail trips are served via shuttle train to/from Secaucus Junction/Hoboken and Meadowlands rail station. There is no direct rail service to MetLife Stadium from any other rail line or station.

Sunday, June 15:

  • Service to Meadowlands Station will begin at 1:08 PM.
  • The final Meadowlands Station-bound train will depart at 6:48 PM.
  • The last train FROM MetLife Stadium will not depart earlier than 11:16 PM.
  • Stadium parking lots open at 1:00 PM, with gates at 4:00 PM.

Tuesday, June 17 and Thursday, June 19:

  • Service to Meadowlands Station will begin at 7:08 AM.
  • The final Meadowlands Station-bound train will depart at 12:48 PM.
  • The last train FROM MetLife Stadium will not depart earlier than 5:16 PM.
  • On these days only, there is NO direct service to or from Hoboken.
  • Stadium parking lots open at 8:00 AM, with gates at 10:00 AM.

Saturday, June 21:

  • Service to Meadowlands Station will begin at 1:08 PM.
  • The final Meadowlands Station-bound train will depart at 6:48 PM.
  • The last train FROM MetLife Stadium will not depart earlier than 11:16 PM.
  • Stadium parking lots open at 2:00 PM, with gates at 4:00 PM.

Customers are advised to plan ahead and check rail schedules for service from Secaucus to Penn Station New York and Hoboken Terminal after the event. Customers can use PATH service to New York from Hoboken Terminal. (Please note that PATH service will not be cross-honored for this event).  

Customers connecting with trains at Secaucus should check their train schedules and allow for additional time in order to make their train connections. Visit Train Schedules for service details.

Customers traveling on NJ TRANSIT trains to MetLife Stadium should purchase their round-trip tickets from their originating station TO MEADOWLANDS STATION to avoid delays when boarding trains. Tickets purchased on the train will include a $5 surcharge for each ticket.
