NJ TRANSIT: Pokémon GO Fest Transportation – June 6-8, 2025

NJ TRANSIT is offering public transportation to and from the Pokémon GO Fest at Liberty State Park.

Notes:

  • There will be no public parking at the event.
  • All NJ TRANSIT Light Rail stations and trains are fully accessible.
  • All NJ TRANSIT buses are accessible with lifts and ramps. Ask the operator for assistance.
  • All Light Rail trains will be arriving and departing on Track 2 at Lincoln Harbor Station ONLY on Saturday and Sunday.

Light Rail:

Take the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail train to the Jersey Avenue or Liberty State Park station. 

Due to expected attendance for Pokémon GO fest, HBLR will provide additional service between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday only. Trains will depart at the following times after the hour, from 6:00 AM until 7:00 PM:

  • Northbound:
    • 8th Street to Hoboken Terminal - :07, :22, :37, :52
    • West Side Avenue to Tonnelle Avenue - :19, :39, :59
  • Southbound:
    • Tonnelle Avenue to West Side Avenue - :14, :34, :54
    • Hoboken Terminal to 8th Street - :05, :20, :35, :50

After 7:00 PM until the end of service, trains will depart at the following times: 

  • Northbound:
    • 8th Street to Hoboken Terminal - :09, :29, :49
    • West Side Avenue to Tonnelle Avenue - :19, :39, :59
  • Southbound:
    • Tonnelle Avenue to West Side Avenue - :14, :34, :54
    • Hoboken Terminal to 8th Street - :05, :25, :45

After 10:00 PM on Sunday, normal weekend service will resume on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail. Click here for more information.

Bus:

Customers can take Bus Route No. 6 to the Liberty State Park stop on Friday June 6, only. 

Important note: Bus Route No. 6 does not operate to Liberty State Park on weekends.
