Bus Detour for Nos. 59 & 112 in Roselle – Monday, May 5, 2025

Effective Monday, May 5, from 2:00 PM and continuing until 10:00 PM, Sheridan Avenue will be closed between East 2nd and East 3rd avenues due to Cinco de Mayo festivities. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 59 and 112 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Newark/New York will travel from East 2nd and Sheridan avenues, continue on East 2nd Avenue, right on Linden Avenue, left on East 3rd Street, and then continue the regular route.  
  • Buses traveling toward Dunellen/Clark/Scotch Plains will travel from East 3rd and Sheridan avenues, continue on East 3rd Avenue, make a right on 3rd Avenue, right on Harrison Avenue, left on East 3rd Avenue, and then continued the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
