Hudson-Bergen Light Rail: Boarding Changes due to Schedule Adjustments – Saturday, May 3 & Sunday, May 4, 2025

On Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4, Hudson-Bergen Light Rail will experience boarding changes due to schedule adjustments: 

Boarding Changes:

  • Saturday and Sunday, from 6:00 AM until 8:00 PM each day, Tracks R1 and R2 will be out of service between Newport and 2nd Street stations / Newport and Hoboken Terminal. During this time, a Bus Bridge will operate on a Load and Go basis at Newport Station, Hoboken Terminal, and 2nd Street Station.

     

  • Saturday and Sunday, from 6:00 AM until 8:00 PM each day, Track No. 1 will be out of service between Marin Boulevard to Harborside Financial Center. All trains will be arriving and departing on Track No. 2 at Marin Boulevard, Essex Street, Exchange Place, and Harborside Financial Station. 

    Departure Times on Saturday, May 3 & Sunday, May 4:

Northbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

6:00 AM until 8:00 PM

Northbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

  • 8th Street to Newport - :07, :37

  • West Side Avenue to Jersey Avenue - :15, :45

  • 2nd Street to Tonnelle Avenue - :17, :47

Southbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

  • Tonnelle Avenue to 2nd Street - :27, :57

  • Marin Boulevard to West Side Avenue - :24, :54

  • Newport to 8th Street - :10, :40

After 8:00 PM each day, normal weekend service will resume.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
