Bus Detour for No. 814 in New Brunswick - Effective Sunday, May 21, 2023

Effective from Sunday, May 21, until Sunday, November 5, George Street will be closed between Albany Street and Bayard Street for the Outdoor Dining Plaza event.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 814 in New Brunswick will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward North Brunswick will travel from George Street and Albany Street, make a left on Albany Street, right on Neilson Street, right on New Street, left on Livingston Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Middlesex County College will travel from Livingston Avenue and New Street, make a right on New Street, left on Neilson Street, left on Albany Street, right on George Street, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops will be lost and delays expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully, and allow for extra travel time.
