SPECIAL TRAINS ADDED FOR THE NJEA CONVENTION IN ATLANTIC CITY

NEWARK, NJ, November 4, 2002 – NJ TRANSIT will operate special trains once again for this year’s New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) Convention on Thursday, November 7 and Friday, November 8. Take NJ TRANSIT and leave the hassles of driving and parking behind.
An NJEA express train will depart Cherry Hill at 7:42 a.m., making all stops before arriving at the Atlantic City Convention Center at 8:50 a.m. A special train will also be added, in the opposite direction leaving Atlantic City at 1:25 p.m. and arriving in Cherry Hill at 2:40 p.m.
NJ TRANSIT operates rail service directly from Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station to the Atlantic City Rail Terminal, located adjacent to the Atlantic City Convention Center. Climb aboard at convenient stops in Cherry Hill, Lindenwold, Atco, Hammonton, Egg Harbor and Absecon. Tickets are available at all train stations and cost $6.60 from Philadelphia, and less from subsequent stops. Bus service is also available to Atlantic City from many locations.
