NEWARK, NJ ¿ NJ TRANSIT service on the Morristown Line will operate on a special schedule Saturday, July 28, between Dover and Summit to accommodate track work near Morristown Station.
Under the special schedule, nine inbound trains and nine outbound trains will not operate between Dover and Summit¿resulting in roughly bi-hourly service between the stations. Hourly service will continue to operate between Summit and New York on a regular weekend schedule.
Customers traveling from stations between Dover and Chatham may opt to drive to Summit Station where parking is free on weekends.
On Saturday, the following inbound trains will not operate between Dover and Summit: 6912, 6916, 6920, 6924, 6928, 6932, 6936, 6940 and 6942. The following outbound trains will not operate between Summit and Dover: 6913, 6917, 6921, 6925, 6929, 6933, 6937, 6941 and 6943.
