REDUCED FARE TICKETS VALID ALL DAY ON ELECTION DAY AND VETERANS DAY

NEWARK, NJ ¿ On Election Day (Tuesday, November 2) and Veterans Day (Thursday, November 11) NJ TRANSIT will lift fare restrictions for peak period travel to allow customers to use reduced fare tickets all day when riding rail, bus or light rail lines, as follows:
- Off-peak round-trip tickets will be valid on all trains.
- The Family Super Saver Fare will be in effect from 7 p.m. November 1 until 6 a.m. November 3, and from 7 p.m. November 10 until 6 a.m. November 12, enabling up to two children, ages 11 and under, to travel for free with each fare-paying adult on all NJ TRANSIT rail, bus and light rail lines.
- The Rail Special Excursion (unlimited use one-day) ticket will be valid all day on November 2 and November 11, except to- and from Metro-North stations.
