Bus Detour for No. 21 in West Orange – Saturday, June 7

Effective Saturday, June 7, from 6:30 AM until 9:00 PM, Main Street will be closed between Park Avenue and Mississippi loop due to the West Orange Street Fair.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 21 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Newark will begin the trip at Erie Loop.
  • Buses traveling toward West Orange will end the trip at Main Street and Mt. Pleasant Avenue, to return to Erie Loop, buses will make a left on Mt. Pleasant Avenue, left on Brennan Drive, left on Northfield Avenue, right on Main Street, and then right into Erie Loop. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
