Bus Detour for Nos. 74 and 190 in Paterson - Thursday, June 5, 2025

Effective Thursday, June 5, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Main Street will be closed between Ward Street and Green Street due to a special event.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 74 and 190 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward PABT/Newark will travel from Main Street and Ward Street, make a left on Ward Street, right on Railroad Avenue, right on 21st Avenue, left on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward the Broadway Bus Terminal will travel from Main Street and Green Street, make a right on Green Street, left on Railroad Avenue, left on Ward Street, right on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
