Bus Detour for No. 159 in Fairview – Sunday, June 1, 2025

Effective Sunday, June 1, from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM, Anderson Avenue will be closed between Kennedy Drive and Fairview Avenue due to the 2nd Annual Fairview Fun Day.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 156 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward PABT will travel from Anderson Avenue and Kennedy Drive, make a right on Kennedy Drive, left on Bergen Boulevard, left on Harding Place, right on Fairview Avenue, right on Bergenline Avenue, and then continue the regular route.       
  • Buses traveling toward Fort Lee will travel from Bergenline and Fairview avenues, make a left on Fairview Avenue, left on Harding Place, right on Bergen Boulevard, right on Kennedy Drive, left on Anderson Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
