Bus Detour for No. 94 in Newark – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until Friday, May 30 at 4:00 PM, Stuyvesant Avenue will be closed between South Orange Avenue and Abinger Place due to road construction. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 94 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Union/Route 22/Linden will travel from South Orange and Stuyvesant avenues, continue straight on South Orange Avenue, left on Sanford Avenue, left on 18th Avenue, right on Stuyvesant Avenue, and then continue the regular route.     
  • Buses traveling toward Bloomfield will travel from Stuyvesant and 18th avenues, make a left on 18th Avenue, right on Sanford Avenue, right on South Orange Avenue, and then continue the regular route.      

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
