Bus Detour for No. 197 in Ringwood - Monday, May 26, 2025

Effective Monday, May 26, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Greenwood Lake Turnpike/Ringwood Avenue will be closed between Westbrook Road (Ringwood) and Union Avenue (Wanaque) for the Memorial Day Parade. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 197 in Ringwood will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward PABT will travel from Greenwood Lake Turnpike/Ringwood Avenue and Westbrook Road (Ringwood), make a right on Westbrook Road, left turn on Macopin Road, left turn on Hamburg Turnpike, bear left on Main Street, left turn on Union Avenue, right turn on Ringwood Avenue/Wanaque Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Warwick NY will travel from Wanaque Avenue/Ringwood Avenue & Union Avenue (Wanaque), make a left on Union Avenue, right turn on Main Street, bear right on Hamburg Turnpike, right turn on Macopin Road, right on Westbrook Road, left on Greenwood Lake Turnpike/Ringwood Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
