Bus Detour for No. 744 in Passaic - Monday, May 26, 2025

Effective Monday, May 26, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Main Avenue will be closed between Henry Street and Gregory Avenue for the Memorial Day Parade. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 744 in Passaic will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Passaic will start at Hoover Avenue and Madison Street (end of the line), and will layover at the bus stop.
• Buses traveling toward Wayne will start from Hoover Avenue and Madison Street, make a left on Madison Street, left on Hamilton Avenue, right on Monroe Street, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
