Bus Detour for No. 601 in Lawrenceville - Effective Immediately

Effective immediately until Friday, May 23, at 8:00 PM, the Metzger Drive College Access Road Bus Stop will be closed from Green Lane to Pennington Avenue due to a Graduation Ceremony.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 601 in Lawrenceville will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward the College of New Jersey all buses to The College of NJ will stop at the Pennington Avenue Bus Stop by Panera Bread and layover and begin the next trip at this bus stop.
  • Buses traveling toward the Hamilton Market Place will travel from the Pennington Avenue Bus Stop at Panera Bread, continue on Pennington Avenue, make a right on Ewingville Road, continue on Ewingville Road, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
