Bus Detour for No. 114 in Union - Monday, May 26, 2025

Effective Monday, May 26, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Morris Avenue will be closed between Caldwell Avenue and the Route 22 East Exit for the Memorial Day Parade. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 114 in Union will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward New York will travel from Morris Avenue and Caldwell Avenue, make a right on Caldwell Avenue, left on West Chestnut Street, bear right on Chestnut Street, right on Garden State Parkway North Ramp, continue on Garden State Parkway North, take Exit 140 for Route 22 East, continue on Route 22 East, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Bridgewater will travel from Route 22 West and Morris Avenue Exit, continue on Route 22 West, make a right on Fairway Drive, left on West Chestnut Street, right on Caldwell Avenue, left on Morris Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
