Bus Detour for No. 171 in Fair Lawn - Monday, May 26, 2025

Effective Monday, May 26, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Fairlawn Avenue will be closed between Berdan Avenue and Morlot Avenue for a Memorial Day Parade. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 171 in Fair Lawn will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward GWB Bus Terminal/NYC will travel from River Road and Morlot Avenue, make a right on River Road, left on Morlot Avenue, right on Plaza Road, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Paterson will travel from Morlot Avenue and Plaza Road, make a left on Morlot Avenue, right on River Road, left on Morlot Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
