Bus Detour for Nos. 65 & 114 in Scotch Plains – Monday, May 26, 2025

Effective Monday, May 26, from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Front Street and Park Avenue will be closed between Hunter and Mountain avenues due to a Memorial Day Parade.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 65 and 114 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Newark/New York will travel from Front Street and Hunter Avenue, make a left on Hunter Avenue, right on Mountain Avenue, and then continue the regular route.   
  • Buses traveling toward Dunellen/Bridgewater  will travel from Mountain and Park avenues, continue on Mountain Avenue, make a left on Hunter Avenue, right on Front Street, and then continue the regular route.   

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
