Bus Detour for No. 59 in Westfield – Monday, May 26, 2025

Effective Monday, May 26, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM, East Broad and Elm streets will be closed between North and Dudley avenues due to a Memorial Day Parade.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 59 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Elm Street and Dudley Avenue, make a right on Dudley Avenue, left on North Avenue, right on Broad Street, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Dunellen will travel from Broad Street and North Avenue, left on North Avenue, right on Dudley Avenue, left on Elm Street, and then continue the regular route.       

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
