Bus Detour for No. 40 in Harrison - Effective Immediately

Effective immediately until Tuesday, May 6, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Harrison Avenue will be closed between Davis Avenue and North 5th Street for utility work. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 40 in Harrison will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Jersey Gardens will travel from Davis Avenue and Harrison Avenue, make a left on Harrison Avenue, right on 7th Street, right on Bergen Street, left on Frank Rodgers Boulevard, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward the North Arlington Loop will travel from Harrison Avenue and North 5th Street, make a left on North 5th Street, right on Hamilton Street, left on Davis Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
